In the first week of the college football season, there were plenty of upsets and close games. Here are the top 25 teams in the country, according to the Associated Press poll:

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Oklahoma
4. Florida State
5. LSU
6. Ohio State
7. Stanford
8. Michigan
9. Notre Dame
10. Ole Miss
11. Tennessee
12. Georgia
13. Baylor
14. USC
15. Texas A&M
16. Oklahoma State
17. Utah
18. Mississippi State
19. Florida
20. Louisville
21. Auburn
22. Oregon
23. Arkansas
24. Boise State
25. Texas

There were some really close games this week, but Clemson and Alabama remain at the top of the rankings. Oklahoma, Florida State, and LSU round out the top 5. Ohio State, Stanford, and Michigan make up the next three spots.

Notre Dame had a really close game against Texas, but they pulled out the win and are ranked 9th. Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Georgia are the next three teams.

Baylor, USC, and Texas A&M make up the next three spots. Oklahoma State, Utah, and Mississippi State are next in the rankings.

Florida, Louisville, and Auburn are the next three teams. Oregon, Arkansas, Boise State, and Texas round out the top 25.

There were some close games and upsets this week, but the top 25 teams remained relatively the same. Clemson and Alabama are still the top two teams in the country.
